Month-To-Month Tuition

Thrive Afternoon Adventurers is the best way for a K-5th grader to decompress after a full day of academics, connect with friends, discover in nature, and just be a kid! Program details at bottom.

IS YOUR CHILD READY TO THRIVE THIS SCHOOL YEAR?

Afternoon Adventurers at Thrive Forest School is an after-school program held outside in all weather throughout the school year. At Afternoon Adventurers, children have a chance to decompress after a tough day at school as they head into the woods to socialize, explore, build, create, and discover. Kids will enjoy quiet journaling time each day, a healthy snack, and a true nature-immersion experience guided by expert educators in a small group dynamic.

  • Open to children in grades K-5
  • Held Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the school year, from 2:45pm-5:15pm
  • We will be a designated bus stop for any children attending Harmony Elementary School
  • Cost: averages $250 or $275 per month (based on full-year vs month-to-month commitment -- prorated based on class days per month)
  • Generally will follow Oldham County School District with regard to schedule
  • Masks are not required for children unless we must move inside due to hazardous weather. Educators always wear masks.

Spending time in nature has been shown to reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and boost academic performance. It's also just a lot of muddy fun, which many kids lack access to in this day and age. Trade screen time for green time at Thrive! Your child will come home dirty or your money back :)

If you have questions about the program or would like to submit an application for financial assistance, please email Ryan@KYNaturePreserve.org. If you're interested in enrolling for the entire school year at a discount, please email.

See you in nature soon!
